Reading — A book about creativity that I’m on the fence about so I’m not going to comment. Just started Plum Spooky.
Watching — Have I mentioned that I’m a fan of Tavis Smiley? If I remember to eat lunch at one, he’s my company.
Listening — Dude! If you’re trying to figure out who to kill in your next book you probably shouldn’t be listening to an endless loop of “How to save a life” by the Fray. I’m just sayin’….
Writing — having a BLAST with my new WIP!
What’s keeping you entertained?

Reading: Finishing up CATCHING FIRE for the second time so I can dive into MOCKINGJAY later this week… yeah yeah I know, you’re not a fan
Watching: Had an urge to watch FIGHT CLUB tonight, so I did! Love that movie.
Listening: Dude, “How to Save a Life” is awesome! But you’re right, not the right kill-your-character anthem. I’ve been listening to a lot of The Cure. They always bring me right back to my angsty, emo teenage years, which I sort of need to channel write now.
Writing: Paused the new WIP for the past 2 days to figure out some plot stuff, but hope to cross the 25k mark by the end of the week.

Reading: Aware magazine for Fibromyalgia sufferers. Have not picked up a book since I started this WIP. Too much on the brain. The whole Mockingjay craze is tempting…
Watching: Finished Repo Men this week. I really liked the movie. The end was sad but I thought it fit.
Listening: Silence!!
Writing: Ahhhh. All my editing is finished from last week and I finally sorted out the last plot points I needed. I think I am in the final stretch!

Reading: everything on pause while I devour Mockingjay (sorry).
Watching: Alfred Hitchcock Presents every chance I get. I love those old black-and-whites.
Listening: a huge mix that includes folk, oldies, classical, country (very little), and other instrumentally stuff.
Writing: 2,000 words/day on my new WIP, 35,000 total so far. My first drafts consist of almost nothing but stage direction and reminders. Can’t wait for draft 2 – love editing/rewriting once I have the concept down.

Jenny — It’s not that I’m not a fan of Mockingjay…I haven’t read the other two books. It’s just that I hate overblown hype of any kind and you’ve got to admit, Mockingjaymania is out of control. On the flip side, I do think it’s great that so many are excited about reading.
Amy — I have difficulty reading when I’m writing too. I’ve got no problem reading non-fiction, but novels tend to throw me off-course.
Joann — I LOVED those old AH’s. Enjoy!
