I never got Whitney Houston. Even when she could belt out the tunes, her voice split my head open like a ripe melon. I’ve always run for the Advil whenever I hear her sing.

I write just like you. Sometimes curled up on the couch, somtimes I need to sit at the kitchen table. Sometimes I can write on the computer, but I do better with a spiral notebook [much better!]. I switch pens to make life interesting and I get up and walk around a lot when I write too. I can’t say I’ve ever gotten comfortable while I was writing.
