Writing Can Be Murder

Have you ever seen such a sight in your life?

I’m driving and I stop at a traffic light, and a guy pedals past (very slowly since he was going up a steep hill) on a pink girl’s bike, that had a giant basket on the front, that held….wait for it….prepare yourself….a CHAINSAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG I started laughing so hard that the car behind me blew its horn when the light turned green.

  1. Now there’s an adventure seed if I ever heard one. You must include this in a book one day. What do you suppose he was going to DO with that chainsaw?

  2. Creeeeeeepy.

Was the chainsaw bloody? Maybe that pink bike was owned by the little girl he just killed with it. (Writing mind at work!)

  3. Jennifer — I wasn’t wondering what he was going to do…I was wondering what he’d already done!

  4. Parisa,

Hmmm…I guess a “normal” person would have found it creepy. What does it say about me that I thought it was funny? (never mind, don’t answer that!)

  5. If you were driving at 3 am or something, I’d understand the sight.
As, for putting it in a book, no one would ever believe it 🙂
