Writing Can Be Murder

I took bigger steps

but I don’t think I ran any faster, lol. Tried something new today: instead of using time intervals, I kept a close eye on my heart rate. When it reachedthe top of the zone I was working in, I slowed to a walk. When it got back down to the bottom of the zone I “ran” again.

Maybe I’ll try that for writing today. I’ll write until I start to feel tired, then take a break and once I feel recharged I’ll start again.

Can’t report word count for yesterday because I found myself stuck, so I reverted to paper and pen.

  1. That method works for me for writing. I take frequent breaks to let the brain rest. Writing on paper is the best way to get out of a slump,IMHO.
