Eight weeks done for 2010

Two months gone? Already?

Yesterday I came to the conclusion that I made a giant mistake in my work-in-progress. HUGE.

There are times when you figure out where you’ve gone wrong with your work and you celebrate. Throw up your hands, do the hokey pokey, and dive right into fixing it.

There are times when your only thought is, “Oh dear god, what have I done?”

I am experiencing the latter. Tomorrow I vow to hokey pokey my butt off, but I’ve given myself permission to wallow in despair for 30 hours or so…

Maybe I should just go outside and wallow in snow. It has snowed for the past seven days in a row…it’s snowing now…it will probably snow tomorrow….

Despite that, I did okay with my running this week. One outdoor run, one treadmill run, and three days of walking videos means that I’ve done my cardio for the week.

Tomorrow I’m scheduled to do a six mile run…have I mentioned that the snow is piled higher than me in spots???

Eight weeks are done, but apparently winter isn’t.

  1. See, I would wallow in a chocolate brownie. But that’s just me. Hopefully once you’ve dug into your WIP you’ll find the mistake is not so huge after all.

  2. Well, I’ve slept on it and I still think it’s a giant error ((sigh)). I’m drawing up a plan of attack…
