Reading, Listening and Watching 4-14-10

Reading — Tim Dorsey’s FLORIDA ROADKILL — odd, but in the best possible way

Listening — Songs of the week seem to be A Fine Frenzy’s ALMOST LOVER and YOU RUN AWAY by The Bare Naked Ladies

I’m considering listening to HERE LIVES LOVE a dance-music opera about Imelda Marcos from David Byrne and Fatboy Slim featuring Cyndi Lauper, Tori Amos. Admit it, you’re intrigued to, aren’t you?

Watching — This falls under listening and watching. Caught The Beatles tribute show STRAWBERRY FIELDS at BB Kings this wknd. Fun show, whether or not you’re a Beatles fan (which I’m not).

So what about you? Share what you’re reading, listening to, and watching!

  1. Reading: About two-thirds of the way through THE BRIEF WONDROUS LIFE OF OSCAR WAO. It’s not a fast read. After I finish it I will be craving something light, like more Dexters or something with vampires in it.

Listening: To the sounds of the ice cream truck. It’s official, summer’s coming!

Watching: The ULTIMATE FIGHTER reality show. Steve is a huge fan… and if I can’t beat him, might as well join him.
