10 Things I love

I’m not going to include specific people because then I’d just have to change the title to ten people I love.

These aren’t in any particular order:

1) Watching a thunderstorm blow in (better done outside so that you can feel all that energy)

2) Coffee (shocking, I know)

3) Fuchsia, Raspberry, Hot Pink — these are my happy colors

4) Starting a story — what a rush!

5) Finishing a story — what a relief!

6) Hot showers — no matter what the temp outside is. Everything’s better with a hot shower.

7) Paper — specifically blank journals/notebooks/pads — these are my crack

8) Walking in the woods

9) Getting lost in a good book

10) Indoor plants — green is good

  1. Agree with everything except numbers 8 and 10. I’m clumsy and would probably trip over a root and twist my ankle. Plus the woods are spooky! As for indoor plants, my cats would eat them and barf all over the place. But they look and smell lovely.

  2. Very funny! I am with you on 1, 2 ( I have been photographed marathon training WITH a Starbucks in each hand, I think I have a PROBLEM!) 3 -with you on Rasberry, but blues & greens are for me,6 made me laugh since I too, even if its 90 degrees out will STILL take a hot shower! 7 & 8 YEAH!!! I have some nice woods close by me that has trails and there is a clearing, it looks like a scene from a movie, there is water, greeenery & you feel like you are on another planet and meanwhile you’ve stepped out of the woods.
Jenny totally with you on the plants…outdoors no problem. Indoor only IVY grows! Although, I have many mnay faux flowers, that look so real, all over the place, light candles the house smells ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
