For all those with an overabundance of zucchini, I want to point you in the direction of this super-easy, surprisingly yummy Herbed Zucchini Soup.

I made it a couple of weeks ago (using dill) and it was hit. Plus you can eat it hot or cold, making it a perfect year-round treat.

Point me in the direction of recipes you really enjoy!

This stuff is beyond addictive. The secret is the sauce, everything else you can change. We have used the sauce on steam pack vegetables and had a meal in 5 minutes flat that was to die for. If I want chicken and I am really lazy I send DH through chick fil A for nuggets on the way home and put the sauce on that. Terrible cooking tip, I know.

  3. LOL lol lol lol ( hope you like zucchini bread) – Zucchini soup I will try, also the recipe from Amy above. Thanks. So no zucchinis for you? lol. I STILL am getting tomatos – and some peppers, my sister in law, who is 5 miles from me, got NO tomatos and HUGE 10 feet high Sunflowers. Me not one sunflower šŸ˜¦

Good job starting the training, you’ll be great. You did a half in a noreaster – you will be awesome in this one. I was going to TRY for a PR in the half but for me and all my injuries and stop/start training, I am going for a personal best, meaning no matter what I am going to be happy šŸ™‚

  5. Running — my goal at this point is to just finish the half. Not feeling too hopeful about that at the moment.

    • …..you dont need hope…you have strength, determination and GREAT support!
(even we have a BLIZZARD) Dont know why I am doubtful over this one, but it will change once training is getting into higher mileage.
I am even looking into putting together a JINGLE BELL RUN in my town –who knows who I can talk into doing it šŸ™‚ ( I have clout with the Mayor big PLUS). Have to talk to my friend who organized one recently in a hilly town VERY close to me.
